006: January 2022 – TheHWP Monthly Recap

Hosted by: Taryn Krier • February 01, 2022

Let’s talk about how The Heartward Project helped me progress throughout the month! I can’t believe we are 1/12 of the way through the year already, but The Heartward Project helps you handle the passing of time and enter into a level of productivity. The Heartward Project is flexible for you as an individual! How I use it can be totally different for how you need to use it, but I think it’s really fun to share this process simply as an example for what it can do for you.

Personal January Recap:

  • Launched the Podcast! Reach out if you want to talk about it! taryn@theheartwardproject.com
  • Our family case of COVID quarantined us:
  • The exhaustion from working from home while daycaring full-time for our two kids took away our January focus productivity, and that’s okay! We needed the down time to relax ourselves and rest, and one time I went straight to bed after I closed the door to my son’s room. At 7:30pm.
  • We also weren’t able to go anywhere, so our errands piled up.
  • After our quarantine, I created a new process to help us get back on our feet. The Morning Task Jar! Check out that reel I created on Instagram to let you see what it’s about. It has been amazing to let that jar tell me what my day entails versus me choosing to avoid the same to-do’s day after day after day. I’ve gotten so much done that I would have still avoided by now!
  • January’s focus was the basement refresh: we cleared out some clutter and we started spackling the wall and reorganizing the bookshelf. I can’t wait to go out into public to look for a new couch and rug and a few other things we need! Listen in to hear more about what I did!
  • February: Focus on painting! Paint the upstairs entryway and hallway. Also tackle the basement painting, which is a huge part of the basement refresh, too!
